Seminars are important tools to establish and maintain fruitful communication among the Project team and stakeholders. Usually seminars help to attract professional target audiences that have an important role in achieving goals and disseminate the Project idea and results. Througt this Project Launch seminar it is planned to introduce participants - experts, stakeholders, NGOs and other interested persons with the project, its aims, actions, responsibilities and expected results. All the questions and unclear issues will be discussed and explained.

It is planned that Project Launch seminar will be organized on 24 of March, 2021 online in MS Teams platform. Information about the programme and participation will be provided.
 

On March 24, the project launch seminar "Research of marine protected habitats in EEZ and determination of the necessary conservation status in Latvia" (hereinafter - “LIFE REEF project”) took place online and was attended by more than eighty participants.

Andrejs Svilāns, Director General of the Nature Conservation Agency, Aivars Bērziņš, Director of the Institute of Food Safety, Animal Health and Environment BIOR, and Anda Ikauniece, Director of the Daugavpils University Agency “Latvian Institute of Aquatic Ecology” greeted and addressed the participants of the seminar.
